One week of the fun orientation has finally ended. Got tanned after many days of games under the sun. Knew all my friends in class and met some tuition friends in SR. My class has only 3 guys and 19 girls? Apparently most of the guys preferred physics to biology. Next week will be the real start of lectures and tutorials. My jaws almost dropped when i knew that there will be a biology quiz on Monday. Flipped through biology lecture notes and told myself that i was lucky i did not take up H2 biology. H1 biology had to learn such in-depth stuffs and i can't imagine how am i going to handle more chapters if i ever take up H2. During my O's i learnt that ribosomes were some circular balls which manufacture proteins. And now i got to know that ribosomes aren't just some circular balls, but they are made up of small and large subunits which contains RNA and proteins. It takes time for me to understand all these cell structures and functions 'cause i couldn't really visualize them. Anyhow, i still got to swallow all these facts down. Apart from all these JC stuffs, i was so thrilled when i met my secondary school friends for crab dinner yesterday. Really miss them lots 'cause we have not meet each other for such a long time already. Felt so relaxed with them though i looked lethargic. Rather than my JC friends, 'cause I'll always have that tensed emotion in me when I'm with them. Okay, enough of my rantings.
